Wash Tidal Gauge

The Wash Tidal Gauge is a large pile which has been installed in the Wash, off the Norfolk coast. The gauge is used to measure tidal movements. FTE were awarded the contract to fabricate the sleeve an platform for the pile. The main part of the sleeve weighed 50 tonnes and was transported by road on a special trailer. The installation works were undertaken using a barge mounted crane.
